Plupp is a Swedish children's book character created by Inga Borg.
In her Plupp books, she richly illustrates the Swedish mountain world with both humor and expertise.
Plupp is a small figure with blue hair and a red nose, and lives in a peat hut by a lake called Blåvattnet somewhere far up north.
According to Borg, Plupp is not a troll but an unsinkable creature.
Which means that Plupp is invisible to humans.
Plupp can also talk to animals - two of his closest friends are Lämmel the lemming and Hermelin the stoat.
Plupp has inspired generations to spend time in Swedish nature and the mountains.
